Beatrice Okoye, CFNP, is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner working in the Stockbridge office of Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals. She also graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Clayton State College and University in 2010. Beatrice furthered her education and graduated from Walden University with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014.
Beatrice worked at Emory University Hospital from 2009 to 2014 as a registered nurse and worked with various departments including multiple psychological and physiological problems. Beatrice also worked at the Atlanta Medical Center for 10 years and worked with various departments to provide care for patients with psychological problems such as depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, affective disorders and physiological problems such as renal, congestive heart failure, diabetes sepsis and multiple organ system failure. Beatrice is a member of the following professional associations: American Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society
Medical and Therapeutic Services
Beatrice displays kindness and compassion to all of her patients. She is a patient advocate that strives to understand all their needs and concerns. She uses a therapeutic approach in providing treatment for adolescents and adults suffering from ADHD, Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety and many more.
In her spare time, Beatrice enjoys reading, jogging, listening to music, and planning trips across the world. Beatrice is family-oriented and on her days off she enjoys spending time with her family.
