Dr. Maria Landa is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who joined Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals in June 2018. Dr. Landa earned her Masters of Arts degree from Columbia University in Clinical and Psychoeducational Practice and earned her Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) with Sub-Specialty in Psychology and concentration in Human Development and Neuropsychology from Fordham University- School of Psychology.
Dr. Landa received her licensure from the Georgia Composite Medical Board and is licensed with the Clinical Psychology with the Board of Examiners of Psychology.

Dr. Landa has formal education and training in psychological testing and training in hypnosis. She also has education and training in psychotherapy techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (modern psychoanalytic psychotherapy and existential psychotherapy). She is trained in the assessment and psychological treatment of Dementia.
In her spare time, Dr. Landa plays the piano, listens to classical music, spends time with friends of similar interests and participates in charitable activities.
