Education and Specialty
Martha Murry, M.D. is licensed psychiatrist who is experienced in both Child & Adolescent and Adult psychiatry at Georgia Behavioral Health Professional's Peachtree City office. She earned both her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Science in 1994 at the University of Memphis. She completed her medical degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia, as well as her residency in psychiatry. Dr. Murry completed residency in Psychiatry in 2001.
Dr. Murry completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2004-2006. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Georgia Psychiatric Physicians Association. Dr. Murry was board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2006 and holds a medical license for the state of Georgia. In 2017, Dr. Murry completed a Visiting Fellowship in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) at Duke University School of Medicine.

Dr. Murry is a National Medical Fellowships Scholar for the academic year 1997-1998 including counseling at the University of Pennsylvania's Substance Abuse Research and Treatment Center.
Medical and Therapeutic Services
Dr. Murry has 11 years' experience as an outpatient psychiatrist treating adults, adolescents and children for a wide variety of disorders, including depression, anxiety disorders, ADD / ADHD, trauma issues, and bipolar disorder. She has had additional training at Duke University in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a treatment for Major Depressive Disorder. She now provides TMS to appropriate patients. Her goal is to always empathically engage with the patients to evaluate, diagnose and treat, using her training and experience to support patients in achieving their fullest desired potential.
