Education and Specialty
Martha Murry, M.D. is a licensed adult, child and adolescent psychiatrist at GBHP's Peachtree City office. She earned both her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Science in 1994 at the University of Memphis. She completed her medical degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia, as well as her residencies in adult and child psychiatry. To further her edcuation, Dr. Murry completed residency in Emergency Medicine in May 1999 and Adult Psychiatry in 2001.
Dr. Murry completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2004-2006. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Georgia Psychiatric Physicians Association. Dr. Murry is ABPN Certified and holds a medical license for the state of Georgia. Dr. Murry is also a graduate of visiting fellowship in TMS, Duke University Department of Psychiatry.

Dr. Murry is a National Medical Fellowships Scholar for the academic year 1997-1998 including counseling at the University of Pennsylvania's Substance Abuse Research and Treatment Center.
Medical and Therapeutic Services
Dr. Murry has 11 years' experience as a private outpatient psychiatrist, treating adults, adolescents and children for a wide variety of disorders, including depression, anxiety disorders, ADD / ADHD, trauma issues, and Bipolar disorder. She has had additional training at Duke University in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment for Major Depressive Disorder, and now provides TMS to appropriate patients. Her goal is to always empathically engage with patients to evaluate, diagnose and treat, using her training and experience to support patients in achieving their fullest desired potential.
