Kristi is a licensed professional counselor who has been working with children, adolescents and adults throughout the Atlanta area for the past 20 years. Kristi received a B.S. in Education (Special Education/elementary education) from Northern Illinois University along with a M.S. in Human Service Counseling. Additionally, Kristi is a Certified Trauma Specialist (CTS) which was awarded through the Association for Traumatic Specialists. Additionally, Kristi has served as a consultant for school systems, juvenile courts, businesses and community organizations throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area.

Kristi employs a number of therapeutic techniques to help clients manage every day stress, develop effective problem solving and coping skills, insight, resiliency and provide the tools needed to help resolve past emotional pain or trauma. These techniques are based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Kristi is also trained in EMDR and other trauma techniques that are used to help clients to re-process past emotional experiences that continue to effect their ability to function in a healthy, positive manner.

Other Information
She is a member of the American Counseling Association and serves on the Community Board for The Lighthouse School in Peachtree City.
Kristi and her husband have lived in Peachtree City for 17 years where their three children graduated from McIntosh High School. A former Delta flight attendant and married thirty years to a Delta pilot Kristi is well aware of the unique challenges that airline families living in the community experience.
