BJ is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and has over 20 years of experience working with a wide variaty of people and their medical issues. She also has a Masters Degree in Sport Medicine.
Medical and Therapeutic Services
BJ brings a strong understanding of medication management to assist with individual needs and concerns to promote a healthy wellbeing for all ages. In addition, she has a special interest in girls, women and gifted students with ADD and ADHD issues.

BJ works closely with Dr. Nelson and our therapists to provide and individualized program for each person. Patients visiting BJ will receive a full range of psychiatric services. She sees children, adolescents and adults of all ages and provides initial psychiatric evaluation, medication management/review, cognitive therapy and general consultation.
BJ has been married for over 20 years to her husband Bryan. They have two children, Zachary and Ansley. She currently resides in Pike County and has a small farm with goats, chickens, horses and an oreo cow.
