Dr. Fawehinmi is a licensed psychiatrist at Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals Marietta office. Dr. Fawehinmi attended Obafewi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife Nigeria were he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MB.ChB). He is currently attending the University Of Alabama School Of Public Health in Birmingham, Alabama Public Health/Health Care Organization and Policy. Dr. Fawehinmi has completed his residency in June 2017 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Dr. Fawehinmi worked as a PGY4 Resident serving as Junior Attending in the Acute Psychiatric Care Unit and Emergency Psychiatry Services. Where he was fortunate enough to experience various levels of care including: Inpatient and Outpatient Services, Significant Therapy (CBT, Supportive and Psychodynamic) experience under supervision. In June of 2012, Dr. Fawehinmi completed an externship at Utmost Healthcare Center in Alabama. In which, his duties included but not limited to visiting the physician and working with Dr. Badewa.
Awards, Service, Honors
Dr. Fawehinmi volunteered at the Birmingham Crisis Center in Alabama as a Crisis Center Supervisor. Here, he answered calls from distressed teens going through challenges in their lives. His tasks included providing them with motivational and coping skills as much as possible. He also volunteered at St. Ann's School of the Disabled in Nigeria as an instructor/Medical Liaison where he oversaw the treatment and care of a group of children and tailored programs designed to help attain certain developmental competencies to fit with their class schedule. Dr. Fawehinmi holds the following certifications: USMLE Step I, USMLE Step II CK, USMLE Step II CS, ECFMG Certified, and USMLE Step III.

Dr. Fawehinmi stands ready to provide comprehensive psychiatric and medical treatment for adults eighteen and older struggling with:

In his spare time, Dr. Fawehinmi enjoys swimming, running, cycling, reading novels, walking, hiking news and current affairs. He enjoys listening to music and Formula 1 racing.
