Tracy Das, M.D. is a psychiatrist at the Sandy Springs/Atlanta office at Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals. She received her Bachelors in Biology and Psychology from the University of California. Dr. Das furthered her education by attending St. Matthew's school of Medicine in California, where she received her doctorate. Dr. Das is board certified and received and completed her residency in General Psychiatry from Virginia Tech Carillon Research Institute Medicine in Roanoke, VA. Dr. Das completed her Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from Children's National Medical Center at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Das is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Das is also a proud member of the Georgia Psychiatric Physician's Association.
Awards, Service, Honors
Dr. Das is adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University. Dr. Das is also affiliated with Gamma Beta Phi, Golden Key International Honor Society. Dr. Das is affiliated with Global Mental Health Experience Fox in Tokyo, Japan collaborating with specialists on cultural differences and research on the impact on victims of earthquake and tsunami disasters. Dr. Das was personally selected to work with the head of Global Mental Health director Nimh on cultural mental health issues.
Adolescent and Adult Medical Services
Dr. Das is a dual board-certified psychiatrist specializing in children and adolescent psychiatric conditions, with an expertise in anxiety disorders, PTSD (worked with veterans at VA), eating disorders (worked at Renfrew Center), OCD, Depressive Disorders, ADHD and Bipolar Disorder. Dr. Das is a big proponent of bio-psychosocial model and enjoys working with adults as well.
In her spare time, Dr. Das enjoys spending time with her husband son and soon-to-be mother to a baby girl. She enjoys experiencing different cultures through traveling and trying different cuisines, interior design, and remodeling. She also enjoys, spending time with family, friends and playing trivia.
