Education and Specialty
Rebecca Pihera is a board-certified Advanced Practice Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at the Atlanta office for Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals. She holds a Master’s degree in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Georgia State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer University. While completing her Master’s degree, Rebecca worked at Emory University Hospital Midtown with chronically medically fragile patients. During her training for her advanced degree, Rebecca completed an internship at North DeKalb Mental Health Center. After obtaining her Master’s Degree, she has enjoyed working with her patients through psychiatric home health nursing and in the outpatient office setting.

Rebecca has worked in medical/surgical/renal medicine as an RN, before specializing in graduate school for Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing.

Rebecca uses a holistic approach and sees patients for initial psychiatric evaluations, psychotherapy and medication management. . Rebecca stands ready to work with adolescents who are eighteen years and older as well as adults that have the following disorders:
